@GTunit THANK YOU. If more blacks actually knew the history and had the balls to say it, I guarantee less whites would be racist. The fact is, it gets really old, really quickly being told over and over again that your ancestors were evil. Especially when it's not true. As a white man, if I know that someone thinks my ancestors were evil, or that I would be evil without others preventing it, then why would I engage with them in the first place? The only reason there are so many of us thinking this way now is because the American Left insisted.

I concur with GTunit and even more so. Humankind has been enslaving each other from the time they started walking on their hind legs. Every time we came across a group that lived in an area that was verdant with life that the other tribe wanted, war was waged and the losers were enslaved for their life duration. Lets all look in the mirror and see what all of us really are, the most toxic and noxious species that ever occupied the WONDERFUL AND LIFE GIVING PLANET EARTH, and with our "special lifestyle" it will be giving up the ghost. Lets hope we can get along better on Mars (sarcasm intended).

@23skidoo - This movie is different. It doesn't really attempt to put the racists in their place. I think it strives for pity on the damage that racism does to black people. I think it tries to promote the idea of mercy over anger. Life is so short. Why do we have to persecute others? I, for one, just want to have a decent place to play my video games. Is that too much to ask?

This is a really deep movie. It shows the deep psychology effect of racism on black people now. I really felt it, because I've lived it, my entire life in the U.S. The psychological effect is worse now, because the physical effect has been taken away through time and the maturity of man. Some will even hang themselves now, it's true, in comparison to past times of being hanged by others. They even sometimes jump off roofs. But, go ahead and hate, its alright. You do you, and I'll be me. Because, I know that love is the only way. Yes, all you haters in the comment section, I'll show you kindness and love.

I haven't seen the movie yet, but I guarantee I will based on the responses by some folks here! Whining? CRT? It's almost as if the history of Blacks in the US never actually happened to some people. Tell people to stop whining about 9-11 and watch the peachy faces turn red. Unfortunately, racists want to hold onto the comfort of their racism without context. Movies like these attempt to put those racist bigots in their place. And I'm here for it. There's actually a comment in this thread calling Blacks "monkeys" and "useless." WOW! AHAHAHAHAH!

I don't know if this movie is any good, but if it's got white folks clutching their pearls it must be doing something right.

Since it's fired up the masses here on the review section i'm in for the download.Thanks again Freeman. Will report back with my unbiased opinion after watching
