This is a QUALITY MOVIE! This movie uses a simple premise to show the reality of authoritarianism in action. It's a timely movie, and sorely needed in a world with dictators popping up in all corners of the world. Do yourself a favor: WATCH this movie, keep it in your library, and READ the book! ENJOY IT!
A classic 90s nonsensical, over-the-top, cartoon villain flick! Excellent stuff!

Scott Adkins opposite Peter Shinkoda is something I didn't think would be such an epic story of warriors. Great action, great acting, largely because of Peter Shinkoda, while the backdrop of WWII and the traditions of Japanese honor through battle, albeit skewed by the power-mad Peter Shinkoda. it's hero's journey and then some! Enjoy!

Wait... so, people should CHEER that white people stopped other white people from wanting to enslave Blacks because it was a FINANCIAL DECISION, and not one of EQUITY? Forget that WHITE PEOPLE were the ones to create the CHATTEL SLAVE trade to begin with, and the ONLY REASON it ended was that OTHER WHITES were the problem, not the slavery itself. More white supremacist talking points go down in the face of FACTS.
