this film delves deeply into cause and effect within the Human condition- this time seen thru the window of three tortured souls who are African American. This film is so multilayered -it shows the invisible bond that twins share with each other as well as identical and opposite emotions and how life is seen thru their eyes- then theres the hierarchy within both sets of twins and also the mothers and that dynamic of course the main layer is the one that leads to ultra violence in moments of intense emotional states ( as it is with Humans in actual reality - the mission- we are given this revelation of sadness, strength and retribution in a style totally suited for building the plot to its climax- Kudos to the Book Writer and to all who brought this vision to the screen.
