Plot summary

June and Jennifer Gibbons are twins from the only Black family in a small town in Wales in the 1970s and '80s. Feeling isolated from the community, the pair turn inward and reject communication with everyone but each other, retreating into their own fantasy world of inspiration and adolescent desires. After a spree of vandalism, the girls are sentenced to Broadmoor, an infamous psychiatric hospital, where they face the choice to separate and survive or die together.

I didn't know it was based on a

I didn't know it was based on a true story until the end of the movie. It's shocking how closely what actually happened to these 2 girls & the films version of events are. It's even fast paced enough, for ppl who get bored easily to like.

“The Silent Twins “ This film is based on a true story about two young girls who were twins identical twins but refused to talk to anybody in their early years. The story is a struggle For the two young girls growing up and refusing to speak to anyone even in school too much later on in their lives. This is their story and it's a good one.

I enjoyed watching this film - a bit

I enjoyed watching this film - a bit bizarre, but stayed with it bc based upon real people and apparently there's a book. I loved the music selection, too. Wonderful lead actresses.
