Plot summary

In the time of the Aztec empire, tragedy strikes Yohualli Coatl when his father is murdered by Spanish conquistadors. To warn King Moctezuma and his high priest, Yoka, of imminent danger, Yohualli escapes to Tenochtitlán. There, he trains in the temple of the bat god Tzinacan with his mentor, developing equipment and weaponry to confront the Spanish invasion and avenge his father’s death. Along the way, he encounters key figures like the fierce Jaguar Woman and the conquistador Hernán Cortés.

No redefine el genero y sin duda no es la mejor pelicula de batman que puede ver, pero aun así la forma en la que combinaron la cultura mexica, la conquista y la propia historia del heroe batman fue increible de ver y me hace desear mucho mas. que el joka no fuera el villano principal fue todo un acierto. ya estaba cansada del joker como unico villano. Definitivamente espero la pare dos

Mucho azteca, poco Batman. Los diseños de personajes se ven interesantes y tenían algo de potencial pero la historia, la animación, las actuaciones, la música y todo lo demás son asquerosas, se siente todo tan bajo presupuesto y hecho sin ganas en general. Probablemente una de las peores (sino es la peor) película animada de Dc que vi hasta ahora.

68% rotten tomatoes as I'm writing this. Holy crap, this revisionist history propaganda film is utter s**t. Anyone who likes this, does like the character of Batman at all. All you like is political messaging. "Oh if we make Batman with the Natives, then ALL America will see we should give our land back to the natives." Those same natives who killed for that land previously and conquered and wiped out previous generations and civilizations before them who did the same thing, so on and so forth. Come on, this is bullcrap. If Batman goes this way, it'll be a dead brand.
