Yeah, the Chinese never rip off anyone's idea. Give me a break! Just remember the old Chinese saying: Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Also, the idea of good and evil crossing rolls predates even the Chinese version of this movie.

See, there's the problem...you never saw the Good Version" of this movie. The combination of Patric Swayze, Jennifer Gray, Emilio Estevez and Michael Ironsides to name a few, make the original an untouchable classic. Also, the times and location made the original Red Dawn invasion, almost plausible. Who the hell would want to invade Spokane Washington? Not even the North Koreans are that dumb.
