Plot summary

One of Hallmark's very best. Sweet and sentimental

One of Hallmark's very best. Sweet and sentimental without being sappy. The acting is a cut above. Lynn Whitfield is outstanding. The little boy is remarkable. He can break your heart with just his eyes. He's a rare talent. You will feel for each character as they maneuver their difficulties through the holiday and then find support and friendship in each other. Even though it's a feel-good movie, you will need a box of tissues for the ending. Watched with my mom. We both cried & cried & cried... This will be an annual Christmas movie for me.

Get your handkerchief ready for the end. Lynn Whitfield as Irene is GREAT! Predictable, as all Hallmark movies are, but it will keep your attention and tug at your heartstrings.
