Plot summary

While investigating a child abuse case, Claire discovers that the family is being tormented by a supernatural entity. In order to save the family, she must confront her own fears and use her emerging clairvoyance to stop the malevolent force.

Esta película tranquilamente podría ser una secuela, o existir en el mismo universo, de The Sixth Sense.. No porque sea una burda copia sino porque es muy similar en ritmo, ambientación, escenas de susto, efectos prácticos e incluso sentimientos.. Y eso no es malo, al contrario, nunca pensé que iba a volver a ver algo similar que me haga sentir lo que aquella la primera vez. Sino es la mejor de Shudder que vi hasta ahora esta seguro adentro del top.

Despite a stellar performance from Michelle Krusiec (a social worker who is able to see dead people), "They Live in the Grey" fails to drag the viewer into the drama of its main character (the loss of a son). When a horror movie replicates a stereotype of trauma already seen too many times, the audience is no longer compelled to be part of it.
