Great suspense movie. If you are Catholic you will rate this above 8.0.

Atheists (Satanists?) in the comments seem butthurt by this movie, but as an atheist myself, I enjoyed it, and was moved by certain aspects--- self-sacrifice, good vs. evil, and the redemption arc of the protagonist. Actors and film crew all did a great job. If you like movies about Catholic demonology or exorcism, give it a try. A solid 6/10, worth a watch.

The plot reminds me of the dark superman origin movie called Brightburn (released in 2019), which was also a dissapointment.

@OkimmOkimm ... because he use the internet to search the movie release dates. Something so simple that even you can do, because all you have to do is type: Spiral release date. Yes only the title of the movie and the words release date.

To me it feels like the opposite of anti-Catholic propaganda. It feels like a movie made specifically for a religious audience. It has all the dreary pace, highly staged visuals, and utter lack of concern for basic movie-making principles characteristic of a film made to proselytize. All that was missing was a cameo from Kirk Cameron and his smug mug.
