Plot summary

When dosed with cosmic rays, four intrepid astronauts are given incredible powers. They decide to form a superhero group called the Fantastic Four to fight their arch-enemy, Dr. Doom.

Honestly, the story behind this film and its

Honestly, the story behind this film and its basic sabotage is a part of what makes this film decent. The actors truly believed they were working on a Fantastic 4 movie, and really put their heart into their rolls, thinking it would be their big break. Also, literally crazy that they gave this project to Roger Corman, the king of B movies, all so they could keep the licensing deal they made with Marvel in the 80's. The Thing is legit in this, and Mr. Fantastic is portrayed well as well. It's worth a shot if you like The Fantastic Four.

Not great but have to give it some points for setting the foundation for what we know as the fantastic four and marvel combined it was just too ahead of its time which is why later movies did great

This movie has so much heart, tried so

This movie has so much heart, tried so hard to be true to its comic source material, and the cast and crew put their all into the production. Don’t let the effects distract you and instead just appreciate the characters and the story, because if you focus on what might be deemed laughable, you’re missing out on a genuinely good movie that cares so much about what it’s doing. It feels like the early comics come to life and it’s just so sincere and lovely. This has quickly become one of my favorite movies and it deserves a far better rating and reputation than it’s been given. Please give this movie a chance with an open mind.
