Don’t let the low budget and six day

Don’t let the low budget and six day shooting schedule stop you from experiencing this Edgar G Ulmer film. Is it his best? No, but isn’t his worst either and his movies have something interesting in them. The character actors make enough of the script to make it worth watching. Everyone seems to be good at taking a punch from the amazing transparent man too!

Dreadful low budget rip-off of every 'Invisible Man

Dreadful low budget rip-off of every 'Invisible Man' bottom of the bill fleapit fodder. The 'plot' is tediously predictable: a hoodlum escapes from prison and is driven to a remote farmstead, where of course a demented German boffin has invented an amazing machine that can render anything invisible. For the first half-hour literally nothing happens and agonisingly slowly. But luckily it then all kicks off, with lots of double-crossings, domestic abuse, failed bank jobs, etc culminating in a nuclear explosion. Total garbage.
