I had high expectations before watching the film

I had high expectations before watching the film. The idea of a ’70s Greek exploitation movie sounded genuinely fun, and the moment I saw Jane Lyle on the film’s Letterboxd page, I was instantly fascinated by her. Maybe that’s why I didn’t end up liking it as much as I expected. The film revolves around two unhinged people on an island committing various "exploitation" stuffs and photographing them, without any clear motivation. Perhaps they were trying to make a film themselves? There were scenes I absolutely loved, and I genuinely liked Celia as a character. However, the film completely falls apart in the last twenty to twenty-five minutes, becoming absurd — even by exploitation standards. To be fair, it wasn’t exactly flawless before that either. Still, I’ll remember it as funky and funkie, but it definitely could have been much better. Interestingly, the visuals at times resemble a French New Wave film, which gives it an unexpected aesthetic charm that I really appreciated.
