If you haven't seen this movie yet, see it. It's probably the best movie of the year that you haven't heard about. Absolutely spectacular film. Human in all aspects. Shot with a sensitivity lost in today's "bright lights, loud noises, shining things" cinema. Duvernay is just getting started...

@amgtuna Well, if western movies and TV were a guide you'd think that at least 50% of Americans (and Brits with our shows) are Black, and it's simply not an accurate representation of the actual numbers of Black people in our populations. Even more so when they make period dramas set in the 1800's-early 1900's with many Black people cast as characters that simply wouldn't have existed. No doubt people will think this comment means I'm racist, but that's not the case. If I listed all my favourite actors/actresses I think the Black would outnumber the White. Also, a movie having 'too many blacks' isn't a good enough reason not to watch it. If that were the case I'd have missed out on some great movies!
