Timothy Treadwell is not an animal lover as he claimed to be. He should respect the grizzly bear for who the grizzly bear is. But, he chose to make fun of the bear and invade their territory. That is not a love neither respect for the grizzly. That is an insult!... He got what he deserves, being eaten by the bear.

this was a tragic story, in the end, many were convinced he suffered from Mental Illness, Bears like Dogs, can sense others sense fear, he was not afraid of Bears, and he was not attacked for a number of reasons, general attitude or maybe they were confused by him, maybe he was on to something, maybe, in the end, the problem was that although his girlfriend believed in him wholeheartedly, she may have had her inert fears and this one Grizzly kept coming around getting nearer and nearer and she may have panicked and they were both torn to shreds I mean basically all of their limbs including their heads were separated from their torso almost like an intentional warning to others, it was a very unusually brutal killing even for a Grizzly, very sad and disturbing story

Timothy Treadwell is a prime example that you can deny reality for a while, but inevitably it always comes back to bite you. Great documentary though; Herzog's narration is particularly poignant and haunting.
