Plot summary

When a drifter befriends a quirky mortician, an unlikely business partnership is formed. Paranoia soon develops, however, and both men are forced to come to terms with the fragility of friendship and loyalty.

Despite some typical awkward acting and script writing

Despite some typical awkward acting and script writing, Vol. 1 of F(r)iends is a surprisingly decent film from Greg Sestero, who was willing to give his f(r)iend Tommy Wiseau a chance to successfully show off his improv acting to the bizarre character he was given despite it being awkward, as well as give an audience a decently engaging story about the chemistry between Greg and Tommy’s characters. A surprising little redemption arc for what people consider to be one of the worst directors, actors, and writers of the early 2000s.
