@atheistsodomite Men playing women isn't Woke, it was the norm in Shakespeare's time. Women were forbidden from acting on stage, so all the female roles were played by young men until their voices changed.

I don't get the "Netflix, no way" thing going on. This movie has a truly original story, no woke BS, genuine feelings, and it's just beautiful to watch. It's not just for children. Adults will find plenty to like about it, too.

If you like the "teen horror" genre, this one is good. It has a bit of twist compared to American movies in this style, so it's not what you'd call typical.

For everyone griping about the American voices, this movie is NOT about the Arabian horses. It's about the American Mustangs. Granted, Disney was stupid to use the same title banking on people watching it based solely on that...but Disney has little to no sense these days. If you can knock off the America bashing for two seconds and just watch the movie, it is a very good family movie. Fair warning about the illegal Mustang wrangling at the beginning and the spur abuse from a rich brat who doesn't know jack about horses. Both require some viewer discretion for the kidlets.

20 minutes in and I just wanted to smack him. I would love to see Mr. Phoenix and the PETA crowd live at the bottom end of the financial spectrum for awhile, or live with health problems that literally forbid veggie or vegan diets. Plants have lives and souls, and they feel pain just like animals do. Where do these self-righteous folks stand on that?
