I requested this a couple of months ago so I thank you, greatly appreciated!! From English film director, writer and producer Pete Walker, House of Whipcord is not only a dark and disturbing piece, but a gem of a horror film that has stuck with me since first viewing it back in the mid-1980's. A vastly superior film than 'Frightmare, which was made the same year....

Thank you for including correct srt file, this is a cult classic. Cheers for this!!

Clint has cinema in his veins, and it shows with yet another film he directed and stars in. Based on the incredible true story of World War II vet Leo Sharp (1924-2016) who was one of the Sinaloa Cartel's most effective mules, transporting staggering amounts of cocaine and earning himself over a million dollars in the process. Featuring an esteemed cast including Bradley Cooper, Laurence Fishburne, Dianne Wiest, Andy Garcia, Michael Peña, and his own daughter, Alison Eastwood, the film grapples with several of Eastwood's preferred themes over his legendary career, including regret, forgiveness and the inevitability of mortality. You can see why Warner Bros so cherishes Clint. Even now, in his late 80's, the venerable director and star remains one of the studio's most bankable talents. Everything he touches turns a profit. Some may find this film a little slow-paced, but The Mule is a wonderful surprise in several ways and makes for an entertaining Eastwood movie.

This is my own private domicile and I will not be harassed…bitch! Six years after the series and his dramatic escape from captivity, Walt's meth-cooking, bitch-uttering partner in crime, Jesse Pinkman is back!! Jesse grafted his way into the pop culture pantheon through a combination of innocence (soon lost), idiocy (largely maintained) and a tendency to append every sentence with the word 'bitch'. Now in El Camino, he gets a chance to wrap up his story. The film is a visceral, ruminative, & emotionally satisfying epilogue in which the broken Jesse reconciles with his past and searches for the hope and humanity he had lost, or rather, been denied by Walt. Aaron Paul is once again phenomenal, deftly toggling between Jesse's youthful playfulness and his older, emotionally shattered world-weariness from scene to scene. Personally, I wouldn't count this as a sequel but rather a continuation. Incredible, captivating and thrilling, this was a bloody good film...

Broodingly shot, Gwen is the debut film by director William McGregor. Set in Snowdonia, Wales in the 19th century, McGregor has captured something truly rare with this film, together with his fascination with the folklore and wild landscape of Snowdonia, BBC adaptations of M.R. James ghost stories, and a heavy influence to Ingmar Bergman's cinematography, Gwen is cloaked in misty menace, moody atmospheres and heavy weather during the industrial revolution, when ugly open-cast flint mines are starting to etch giant fissures into the rugged mountain landscape. The cinematography, particularly the isolated, threatening landscape is stunning and atmospheric, and the music score, by James Edward Barker, seizes with overwhelming isolation with howling winds, which actually contrasts nicely with the sparse script. Clever, beautiful and well-acted, Gwen is slow paced with lots of sickness and death, so some may find it relentlessly bleak....

A British horror about witchcraft & occultism that combines gratuitous nudity and horrific violence in a censor-baiting concoction designed to compete with the gore and cynicism of its contemporary American & European counterparts. Although nowhere near the quality of its counterparts, Satan's Slave is a stunning piece of work, melding some erratic styles perfectly and creating a genuine atmosphere of dread while containing that unique, and priceless, 70's sleazy, grimy feel throughout. A good soundtrack composed by John Scott, offers a veritable smorgasbord of dark progressive samples, melding erratic styles and sounding as edgy, fresh and relevant as it did back in the swinging seventies.
