is this movie based on the video game?

this one is legit. movie was way better than i expected too. sure it has a few rough patches but it's pretty close to a perfect He-Man movie. i'm old enough to remember the Dolph Lundgren movie...it was so different from the cartoon that it was a little disappointing. i would have loved something this cool back then!

wow, i forgot this was even a thing. guess i'll watch it though. thanks i guess

i mean, i hope you all enjoy it but i am so tired of hearing about this movie. it's just one more movie that's filled with all the actors that are also in every other movie

@D3m0n1k i've been feeling that way about EVERY horror movie that gets hyped up lately...Nosferatu, The Witch, Barbarian, Hereditary, Longlegs, Black Phone...i watch them and then wonder what everyone else saw to rave about because they're all pretty boring to me. i think it's because horror is a niche genre so when a horror film gets a lot of hype it's because they found a way to appeal to the lowest common denominator but for a genre fan they feel pretentious, bloated, nonsensical or boring. i crave carnage!
