I thought it was good enough but nothing can compare to the first 2. Probably better then army of the dead the 3rd sequel. Maybe being too harsh on the 3rd sequel in its time it was a cinema blockbuster but probably has not aged well. But look at the producers of this!

First off, you can't compare the reboot to the Bruce Campbell run. They are completely different takes on the ED universe. Having said that, I can see what the writer + director were trying to do here. They were universe building. However, it felt like a half-hearted effort, and only thinly tied back to The Neconomicon OG story. I think if they'd gone a bit deeper into the world-building, really gotten into the lore, this would have a been a much better installment.

Stop slapping 2.39:1 into 16:9 containers! If you don't know how to encode with the correct AR, research it or quit! So sick of "4K" rips that look like g*rbage because you can't check your settings!
