It had some original actors from the Candyman 1992 but speaking roles and never really seen on screen, I think Tony Todd had one speaking role and that was it. Why make a sequel to a movie 29 years later when Candyman already had sequels done, The story was not bad I guess but this movie is not that scary at all, back in 1992 I told everyone in school about the candyman and kids were scared to go to the toilet because of the candyman, the teacher was wondering why everyone was pissing themselves in class lol

why did no one stop Russel crow ,You can argue that same logic in other movies like Terminator 2, why i didn't anyone stop the Terminators fighting in the Mall ? or John Wick, why didn't anyone stop John Wick from killing people in public ? see what happens why you try to put real world logic into movies

This is the stupidest movie I think I've ever seen. when Russel crow confronted the protagonist's lawyer in a restaurant and ultimately killing him other people were just filming him instead of calling 911 or helping the guy. When her son called 911 in the midst of a critical situation, the operator said they were busy or something. When he tried to kill her brother and setting him ablaze the police came out of nowhere and shot at him but seconds later he drove a van but the police chose not to chase him for some reason (even though he was wounded and the police officer was fine). When she drove her car in front of him and that made his car tumble over upside down he came out of it literally unharmed.UNQUOTE The kind of people who watch Harry Potter and get angry because it has magic in it, Maybe you guys can write an dissertation in crayon about Movies and real world logic
