A so-so movie, not bad but I was expecting more. 6/10 from me
Pretty good movie, way better than a lot with higher ratings. Needs a "Forced English" subtitle package.
Not a great movie, but better than the 5.1 mark given. Feels more like a pilot for a possible TV series than an actual movie
Painful to watch, Dafoe is a great actor but he should of skipped this snooze-fest
I'm retired and watch a lot of movies. This one is without a doubt one of the WORST I have seen in a very long time. Couldn't even finish it. Half way through this brutal adaptation I gave up any chance that there would be any redemption for this epic of disaster.
Enjoyable movie, not Oscar material, but certainly not as bad as the reviews are making it out to be. Comparing the film (or almost any film) to the book is not a fair comparison as books can and do delve further into characters and under stories. Just chillax and enjoy it for what it is...Entertainment
