@cxxvii lol thought the same thing. However down to a 5.3 on IMDB and they quite low on the billing so may not have enough presence to make this great - I will see :P
It seems that that some viewers were expecting a return to the gritty style of Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels. However, this film was created as a PG-13 release with families in mind, which naturally brings a different tone and approach.
Mirikado - The statement you provided could be seen as a critique of certain individuals or groups within Christianity, particularly those who align with the Republican Party. The language used ("fantasy book" and "Middle Eastern man from 2000 years ago") appears to be dismissive of the religious and historical foundations of Christianity, which could be perceived as an attack by those who hold these beliefs sacred. It also challenges the notion that people who adhere to Christian values are "free thinkers," implying that their beliefs are constrained by a religious text. While this could be interpreted as an attack on the Christian faith itself, it seems more like a provocative commentary targeting a perceived contradiction between religious faith and claims of independent thinking. Whether it constitutes an "attack" depends on perspective. Some may view it as an expression of opinion or satire, while others, particularly Christians or Republicans, might find it offensive or disrespectful toward their faith and values.
