Why yes Ravenwood, this is a French movie so it's in French. Be careful though, it may take up to 2 minutes on Google to find English subtitles.

The last great Joe Dante movie (even though I still like Small Soldiers as a childhood favorite).

This is known in France as the "aging actress self-celebration" movie type.

Hard to believe this one was directed by the same guy as Busan. The story is way less interesting, actors are crap, the FX too (the movie is basically one long car chase scene and there are no real cars) and the last 20 minutes are so over-stretched it becomes a Z movie, Z not standing for zombie. Seems like the director really wanted to do Fury Road all over again, but it just goes to show that George Miller is the only one to do what he does. If you really loved Busan, there's a big chance you'll hate this one.

I agree with most of the guys here, people (and by that I mean American audiences) who trashed on this movie have probably zero taste. This is a very nice movie about family relationships and dementia, and it never takes the viewer for a complete tool, like 98% of what passes today for a horror movie. In fact it would almost be too reductive to call this one a horror movie.

As a French cinéphile I'm curious to how foreign audiences react to movies like this one. i
