I can't comment on theatrical version, but I have the UHD version from amazon. and the banding and stuff is still there. honestly i think its just part of the movie. there is a kind of softness to the textures that is consistent across every screenshot and trailer (and the official release) that i've seen. I think its a stylistic choice on their part. still a beautiful movie in any case.

I wonder if the lack of 1080p is simply because the film just isn't available anywhere. i had been searching off and on for a couple years literally no one except prime had it (and i don't know what their quality is) not even any pirate sites. Thank you so much for this.

I wanted to add that, in the 1080 blue ray upload, during the major night time sequence of the "Ghost" segment there is a major artifacting/gradient effect on the shots of the clouds that makes it hard to make thing out. not right now, but when i get the chance I'm going to try the 4k version (even tho i don't have a 4k set up) to see if the higher base quality removes some of the issues. if so it might be worth using that version instead, even if you can't do 4k.

Excellent film. Unique take on the alien mythos. The actors nailed it, the cinematography was on point, and quite unsettling at times. Peele proves again to be able to give a unique take on a classic genre.

I don't know why bots even bother coming here and posting BS on a small torrent site in a dark corner of the internet. that stuff would be better off on social media sites.
