Most of you have never seen real war. It's hell.
I was there in 1994 as one of the Belgian soldiers. It comes close but the reality was brutally worse. 10 of my brothers fell. The estimates are higher than 800.000 because many people were not registered. Even after 29 years I still have nightmares. I can still smell the dead.
nikos3194 how old are you? I was there in '94. It wasn't just a genocide but a playground for butchers. What the movie doesnt show is how 1 and 2 year old children were thrown in a pit with hungry dogs, how children were tossed in the river to be eaten alive by crocodiles. Images I will see for the rest of my life.

Just watched it on Netflix. Funny, dramatic, acting of a higher level, great scenery, very good music. A big 10.
