nikos3194 how old are you? I was there in '94. It wasn't just a genocide but a playground for butchers. What the movie doesnt show is how 1 and 2 year old children were thrown in a pit with hungry dogs, how children were tossed in the river to be eaten alive by crocodiles. Images I will see for the rest of my life.

Awesome...I watched this movie since 2005 till now....i still watched over and over again

I think Paul over-charged them in order or so that he can bribe the militias but its touching movie!

Wow, I did not know that all these years @nikos3194. An entertaining movie anyways, that's it.

Don't be fooled. In the true story Paul Rusesabagina charged large sums of money from those who sought refuge in his hotel. The Ibuka group of Tutsi survivors has stated multiple times that this film is exaggerated, and that in reality Paul is a mobster who has already been arrested with international endorsement for financing subversive and terrorist groups (search it on Google). Please, don't let the Hollywood lobby take us for idiots.

Excellent movie !
