Disappointing compared to the great Oddity. The longer it goes the more convoluted it gets.

Among the worst remakes ever. Yes, really. Especially when considering the original is damn near perfect.

kudos to kubrick for realizing how great and disturbing this movie is. ive watched it a bunch of times. it's very hard to shake once seen.

Slow and dull. Someone said it reminds them of Don't Look Now--I guess, if you took out everything that made that movie suspenseful and interesting and left in only the dull bits.

The ending is so predictable and amateurish that it greatly diminishes the masterful acting and filmmaking that makes up most of the film. I kept thinking of Samuel Beckett--it is sometimes that good.

He made 3 good movies ages ago and everything since then stinks. And the 3 good/great ones owe a lot to the cast (Gene Hackman, Pacino, Brando). Megalopolis was so bad I walked out of theater in 30 minutes. No doubt the doc is better than the movie.
