The YTS viewer reviews can be quite good at times. Although some people should just let their own words be written as text and not the AI regurgitated predictable bollock that the machine spits out.

It had a stellar cast and a hefty budget, but it didn’t land with the impact I’ve seen elsewhere. If you're looking for a leaner, more haunting take—without the gloss of big-name actors or blockbuster production—seek out Fail Safe (1964). It’s stripped-down, taut, and far more terrifying. Proof that dread doesn’t need dollars, just precision and moral weight.

The film references a chilling moment when high-altitude clouds were mistaken for incoming missiles—echoing the night Stanislav Yevgrafovich Petrov quietly saved the world. Just three weeks after the Soviet military had shot down Korean Air Lines Flight 007, tensions were razor-sharp. Petrov, the duty officer at the Oko nuclear early-warning system, was confronted with a terrifying alert: a missile launch from the United States, followed by reports of up to four more. Protocol demanded retaliation. Colleagues urged action. But Petrov held the line. Trusting his instincts over the system’s data, he judged the alarm to be false. He was right. The Soviet satellite warning system had malfunctioned. His refusal to escalate—defying procedure and pressure—averted a potential nuclear catastrophe.

Putin is mass murdering tyrant who cares little for his people who he keeps under control with fear. Fear of speaking out, fear of supporting alternatives. Its a very old tactic to cry fascist when wanting to invade another country. Cry Fascist and say that Russians are being attacked by another country.. And oh do shut up with Western this and Western that especially if you are a citizen of one of the democracies.... at leatst you are alllowed to voice your opinion without fear of being thrown off an apartment block. And as for those outside of the West, why is it that you copy the clothes, the music, it's products....

Gritty realism that kept my attention the whole way through. A great cast delivers poignant performances.
