Plot summary

A struggling writer in 1930s Soviet Moscow finds his life transformed when a mysterious professor arrives with his bizarre entourage, including a wisecracking trickster, a deadly assassin, a vampire maid, and a giant talking black cat, turning the city upside down while exposing the hypocrisy of those in power.

Such an incredibly entertaining movie, just as the book is. Be prepared for beauty, dark humor. The actor who played Master is H-O-T. Margarita is sexy as hell. Satan’s entourage thoroughly entertaining. Love this movie.

To make a movie from this surreal roman

To make a movie from this surreal roman is a big effort and I think that the production has been successful. It is better to read the book before, because the movie is a more articulated develop of it.
