I agree with the reviewers here. Is this a great movie. Probably not. Should you watch this movie. Hell yes!!! Its fun and entertaining. Have watched it like 2 or 3 times with my son who is 12. We try to make it a annual thing. I would give this movie a 7 out of 10. Cant wait for my son to ask to see it again.

My family loved this movie. I have a 12 year old boy and my wife with me watching this film. Now, was the acting at the caliber of Academy Nominated movies. No. Did this independent film have the obscene amounts of money that would be thrown at an Academy movie, NO. Is this movie worth the time it takes to watch. In my opinion, more than some Academy movies. Don't watch it for anything other than the great message this movie tells and you will enjoy.

This is another example that critics have their collective heads up their asses. This movie is brilliant from start to finish. The journey that Costner's character takes is one that we would all take. Going from fighting for survival to raising up and taking a stand for what's right. This movie pulls you in and makes you get invested with characters and brings you along for the ride. This is one of my all time favorite movies. It is a much see movie for if for no other reason than to get more people write about it and send a message to the critics that they got it way wrong with this one. Out of a possible 10 I would give this movie a 10.
