good movie, a bit slow paced and long if you are brainrotted by scrolling

Now I'm thinking that those who hates Kevin, well maybe they didn't receive any handouts and gifts. The media relies on handouts. If they weren't gifted, they'd write negative.

I remember my grandfather watching this on Cinemax or HBO one night, and later telling me that it's one of the most enjoyable movies he's ever seen, and the guy has lived through the 50s and 60s watching some of the masterpieces of the golden era. I've only just seen it recently, and it was certainly unique and memorable. I bet that the bad reviews are only because of the movie being too long (3 hours) and for not following the book. But if those are alright with you, you're in for a good time. Some of its underlying message are also quite political, but perhaps not being an American made me oblivious to it

No, it's not exactly like the book. Yes it is a fun movie, and wonderfully shot. Plenty of post apocaliptic movies exist, just none i can think of with this type of production value.

wow! what a movie

This is another example that critics have their collective heads up their asses. This movie is brilliant from start to finish. The journey that Costner's character takes is one that we would all take. Going from fighting for survival to raising up and taking a stand for what's right. This movie pulls you in and makes you get invested with characters and brings you along for the ride. This is one of my all time favorite movies. It is a much see movie for if for no other reason than to get more people write about it and send a message to the critics that they got it way wrong with this one. Out of a possible 10 I would give this movie a 10.
