Plot summary

Written, directed and starring folk singer Martha Tilston, The Tape is a worthwhile watch for her wonderful songs alone. For a debut film on a tight budget, it's admirable if a tad predictable. The best of the dialogue is excellent but it lacks the poetry of her songs in places. It's imperative that Tilston gets another film. This is charming and worthy
