Plot summary

In 1997, 11-year-old Jesse finds a mysterious staircase in the woods and disappears - - 20 years later, a group of hikers sets off into the very same woods. Unfortunately for them, they come face-to-face with the very same set of stairs...

John Schneider has never been a good actor, and clearly is in this for name recognition only. This felt like an after-school horror special made for the SyFy channel. Neat premise, barely passable performances.

The film was obviously low budget, but still

The film was obviously low budget, but still a lot of fun. I’d love to see this story done with better make up and better acting and some touch up’s on the script. It’s a fun horror film and certainly not as bad as the other reviews make it seem.
