Plot summary

Humorist Robert Benchley attempts to find Walt Disney to ask him to adapt a short story about a gentle dragon who would rather recite poetry than be ferocious. Along the way, he is given a tour of Walt Disney Studios, and learns about the animation process.

I did enjoy this movie for what it

I did enjoy this movie for what it was: a story wrapped around an educational movie about how Disney creates their animated movies. I wish they would do this again in modern times as the process has changed a lot over the past 70+ years. Cute story, fair acting, some classic Disney animation, check it out if you're curious.

O filme apresenta de forma leve e divertida todas as etapas da produção de uma animação, desde a ideia inicial até a exibição final, funcionando como um recurso valioso para qualquer fã do gênero por seu caráter informativo. As fases do processo são mostradas com muito bom humor e ilustradas por curtas criativos. Entre eles, se destacam Baby Weems, que demonstra na prática a importância do storyboard, e o poético curta do Dragão, que dá nome ao longa. Uma obra curiosa e didática, que une entretenimento e bastidores. Nota 7/10.
