Plot summary

A cruise ship succumbs to a terrorist act and capsizes on New Year's eve. A rag-tag group of survivors, spearheaded by a priest and a homeland security agent, must journey through the upside down vessel and attempt an escape.

O course it isnt as good as original

O course it isnt as good as original "The Poseidon Adventure" from 1972. I have noticed, that there were some parts of the novel, not used in 72 and used here like the arguing family. There are a lot of interiors in the ship and if i were to choose the best set design i would definitly pic 2005 one. Cgi isnt the best especially the fire in one scene still the budget wasnt high so i didnt expect great one (it still isnt terrible) I love the ship design and beside all the logical errors the movie actually takes some time to build characters not like the 2006 remake. Overall i think it is a great movie, not as good at 1972, better than 2006, and despite having many mistakes but still cool to watch.

I enjoyed watching the movie. The things I didn’t like about the movie was the horrible CGI and how fast the movie pace felt.
