When something is the remake of a remake of a remake of a remake, you kinda get the idea that it's gonna suck. In that regard (and in no other) this film does not disappoint :P

actually this movie plot opens up a new world of movie series wherein we can ask for more out of understanding what happened to Cruise after he got cursed, since UNIVERSAL introduced DARK UNIVERSE means that the company is actually creating another storyline from a fairytales we used to know, understanding the point of view here, its quite a groundbreaking movie to create another sets of movies (actually intriguing since i can't get enough of this one) dracula 2014 also included, there is actually more to the story from this movies. it kinda interest me since im a movie fanatic and a deep story followers of any interesting movies, which included Alien series, Predator Series, Hellraiser series ( if they plan to include this CENOBITES to there DARK UNIVERSE creates a whole new movie series). i honestly think this is an UNDERRATED movie. the story was way better in a manner that it will open a gateway to another Storyline on DARK UNIVERSE if only in the future they will have a crossover between Dracula and Mummy that would be a whole lot interesting., but the fans of shooting and killing ain't liking it,.

lol this movie is what you get when you hire a GUY WHO HAD ONLY DIRECTED A MOVIE ONCE to direct a big budget action movie. even Chris Nolan and Spielberg had to start small and prove themselves. what did this guy do to get the role? Bang the producer's daughter?

this movie doesn't suit Tom Cruise

When I watched this movie for the first time, I never thought of the older Mummy movies. It's just good at the start but became lame at the end. Storyline and acting was bad. I wish they gave it to another actor and not Tom Cruise.

I love this movie like how I love the old 1999 version. For me, it's stupid to compare this one to the old one because they both have different taste, style, and approach. My point is, the '99 version has a "bright" approach and this version has a "dark" approach. And I think those naysayers here are either lovers of independent films and documentaries or Tom Cruise haters or people who made watching movies all day at their parent's basement a career. If you're looking for a movie to watch and chill and have a little bit of excitement and entertainment from it while eating or having some couple of beers, this movie is great for you. Cheers!

Average film. Starts great, but the last 30 minutes was utter shit. You can't build a franchise with that ending. Thank God Tom Cruise and Crowe are there to at least add some fun to the movie.
