Plot summary

To escape their marital problems, a young family travels from the city to spend the summer in Amish Country where a malevolent presence grips them. They soon discover that they were brought there for a reason and they must break free before the demonic hold consumes them.

This movie feels as though it could be

This movie feels as though it could be so much more yet sadly, never seems to reach its full potential! “The woods” is supposedly the main reason why everyone in this little Amish community becomes increasingly evil, yet the reasoning behind this mysterious phenomenon is never explained! Why do they even go in the woods in the first place? What makes them become evil? Why is there a random oxygen tank in the middle of the bridge, that isn’t even in the supposedly evil woods? So many questions!! So little answers.. If you want to watch a suspense or horror movie about Amish type people, stick with The Children Of The Corn!!

I'm kind of confused about the ending it

I'm kind of confused about the ending it seems as if Jacob went into the firer it should have been a part 2 to that movie. I only seen the mom and the two kids get into the van.
