Absolutely one of the best westerns I've seen in quite some time! Great performances by Idris Elba, Regina King, Delroy Lindo, Jonathan Majors, Danielle Deadwyler, Keith Stanfield and many other casts with great special effects and scenery. I rate this film a 10. I applause the director Jeymes Samuel!

Amazing film. Beautiful cinematography, star-studded cast, awesome soundtrack. So much Tarantino style direction but without all that dialog. Very well done. Best movie I've seen in a long time.

I funny that in the trailer i saw a town full of black actors but note one of them is shown on this site in the "Cast"

Cool film bur rap music for that time period lets it down

People always see what they wish to see....this was a great movie. Period. unlike Titanic, Joker, and many other long BORING attempts at Entertainment that won awards. the cheats are in this as well as the Brady Tuck Rule hero fabrication Bias that has long generated the Lenz of Lies that appear in these revues.

All the cowboys in colloquial US history that were the REAL bad-ass outlaws aren't spoken of because of the pansy, PC, afraid-to-offend-anyone, scared of their own shadows majority we live with insist on writing history to fit their comforts. In a world where we have fiber-optics, satellite, micro-cellular communications, electric vehicles, space-x, Amazon-anything-to-your-door, untapped libraries of movies, TV shows, music, information, data, 3d-printing and every other amazing wonder - however do we find the time or room to worry about someones skin color or social beginnings. It's about time we evolve while we can make a difference in our short little lives.

I won't lie and say this is an amazing movie, but it was fun to watch. Entertaining at the very least.

This is all black cast movie! But who cares? So far as it provides good entertainment with good story, acting and direction. I do not know if there were black only towns and counties in US those days. Its new info if its true! But still this movie a bit disappointing if one is not great fan of the famous casts and simply watch because its black power! Alba screen time is very short and not much to day. Otherwise this is medicre entertainment movie only. Wasted talent i would say.
