It was a solid 7, I dont get the ratings, but kept my expectations low and perhaps thats why I really enjoyed it, great acting
@JimMeeker I agree w/ this being very disjointed like the stiches that keep Franks Monster Together. This stinks of studio interference after the success of Frankenstein by Del Toro of recent. Before this film would have been marketed and made totally different . I'd like to see this film from an uncut and from Gylenhall especially if she wrote the entire thing. I Don't really think oncluding a strange musical dance # because Frank is re enacting 1 of the actors films dance #'s. It was so wierd kinda just like that music sequence in Sinners where they included arists and music from the future.
Way too disjointed for me--jumping around all over the place. It couldn't decide if it was a horror film, a dark comedy, a musical, or a parody. Turned out it was none of them--just a waste of time.
Pay attention @BBullet... it's the reanimation fluid that stains her, the Doc explains in a blink-and-you-miss-it moment.
@RandyMantooth, In a comment section we write our personal opinions...just what I did...if you disagree with mine write your own. You don't have to "attack" evrybody with a different opinion than yours.
i liked The Bride! well enough. sometimes it's hard to follow because it doesn't always make sense and Mary Shelley's ghost is really annoying. but it looks cool and it's weird. probably won't watch it again though...unless they make a Director's Cut or something that fills some things in a little more. crazy cuz i hate long movies but i think this one needs another 30 minutes, maybe even an hour because there's just so much happening so fast
It was alright, wasn't glued to my seat or anything but entertaining and had my full attention several times. Jessie Buckley does a tremendous job and I think the reviewers on the right were uncomfortable with a stronger female lead (I was, but at least I felt something)

Few minutes in and I can't handle the weird behaviour and accent. No wonder it only made $24M at the Box Office.
