Oilman Paul Sturges' idyllic family vacation turns into a nightmare when they encounter a ferocious megalodon shark that will stop at nothing to protect its territory. Stranded and under constant attack, Paul and his family must somehow find a way to get his family back to shore alive before it strikes again in this epic battle between humans and nature.
@BadMovieBingo you are mistaken: "B-movies" came from an era when there were more than one film screened for one price. They tend to be from a certain era. Post-1970s, let's say, we get into "schlock", independent, "midnight" and "straight to video". This movie and ALL of the films you have mentioned fall under the latter, if anything. Maybe "indie" and maybe "forced midnight/cult". This particular film is certainly "better" than most you mentioned, but not half as good as, say, Carnival of Souls or anything by Ed Wood, or even schlocky Italian rip-offs of Jaws, Alien and Dawn of the Dead. I'd agree with @Chaao here: Deep Blue Sea knock-off
Some of the people on this comment thread have never really seen B Movies. This is pretty high quality to movies like Shark Exorcist, Jurassic Shark 2, Santa Jaws, House Shark, Virus Shark, Raiders of the Lost Shark, or Doll Shark... and these are just the blu rays I own. This movie looks like a million dollars comparably.
It's a B-Movie, people. It may be even less..if that is possible. I haven't watched it yet, but I'm going to..even if it means turning off my brain while I do so. And it's gonna be AWESOME! Ok, most likely not..but I refuse to admit if I'm not entertained.
