Plot summary

Emma, a radio host, is about to be married to Richard, her perfect match. But right before her wedding, she learns she's already married to Patrick, a charming but irresponsible fireman. Furthermore, Patrick has a secret: he has arranged this little trick because Emma advised Patrick's ex-fiancée to end their relationship. However, Patrick may find that the trick is on him, for he soon begins to fall in love with his uptight adversary.

This is a turkey of a movie, but a very cute turkey. This movie, with so many cliches that it feels like AI went back in time to write it, walked so that Bridesmaids could win the cake-tasting, wedding-movie hijinks Olympics. None of the cast in the love triangle has any chemistry with one another but they are all fun to watch -- plus, I will watch anything with Isabella Rossellini in it, period. This is like a Hallmark movie with better acting and a worse set. Now, make me a turkey sequel with better Indian food in it this time.

The beginning was good and pretty funny for

The beginning was good and pretty funny for a slapstick comedy. The Indian wedding party at the midpoint was totally ridiculous and I was tempted to turn it off. I persisted another five minutes and it appeared that the script had dried up.

I love this movie… it’s honestly one of

I love this movie… it’s honestly one of my favorites. I just wish, for everyone involved, that it hadn’t run into such difficult distribution issues. Great acting, a unique story, and so much heart. For me, it’s an absolute must-see.
