Plot summary

Tom and Hannah have been platonic friends for 10 years. He's a serial dater, while she wants marriage but hasn't found Mr. Right. Just as Tom is starting to think that he is relationship material after all, Hannah gets engaged. When she asks Tom to be her 'maid' of honor, he reluctantly agrees just so he can attempt to stop the wedding and woo her.

So um, I'll start with this: I cannot stand infidelity. However, yes, though this sounds morally wrong, I found this one understable- HEAR ME OUT! If this character Patrick Dempsey played didn't stop the wedding he'd regretted it his whole life. Though yes, crashing a million-dollar wedding sucks and he was being a jerk for not confessing it earlier she felt the same way and if she still married the other guy wouldn't she end regret it, too?

O Melhor Amigo da Noiva parte de um conceito já bastante explorado no cinema: dois melhores amigos que, sem perceber, estão destinados um ao outro. O desafio de um filme assim é enorme. Quando a história já foi contada dezenas de vezes, o diferencial precisa estar na execução. E aqui está o mérito do filme: ele consegue transformar algo previsível em algo divertido, envolvente e emocionalmente sincero. ? Enredo A história acompanha Tom Bailey, um homem charmoso, rico e extremamente mulherengo. Ele vive seguindo suas próprias regras de relacionamento — entre elas, nunca sair com a mesma mulher por dois dias seguidos. Apesar de sua vida amorosa caótica, Tom mantém uma amizade extremamente próxima com Hannah, sua melhor amiga desde os tempos de faculdade.
