Visually distinctive, moody, and surreal, Street of Crocodiles

Visually distinctive, moody, and surreal, Street of Crocodiles is less about objective plot than it is about emotion. Its macabre style and fluid stop-motion animation (the technical capability of the production team should be commended) immediately bring to mind a more mature, less mainstream version of Tim Burton. A piece of short film that is entirely different and wholly imaginative, though as I'm not familiar with the literary source material I can't comment on the strength of the adaptation; independently, it is still a compelling product, especially for its time.
