Plot summary

In 1993, Maureen’s six-year-old daughter Amina is snuck out of the country by her ex-husband, Karim. After years of unsuccessful attempts to find her, Maureen intersects with a professional retriever of internationally abducted children who promises to help her find Amina in exchange for her collaboration.

Stolen Girl A film based on a real-life story with a strong and unexpected ending, yet weakened by poor transitions, unconvincing acting, cheap effects, and uneven pacing. - Story: 1/2 – authentic but fragmented - Plot: 1.5/2 – realistic, powerful ending - Acting: 0.5/2 – weak performances, Beckinsale disappointing - Effects: 1/2 – cheap and underdeveloped - Entertainment: 1/2 – average, with moments of boredom Final Score: 5/10 ? It had an interesting premise, Kate's daughter being taken from her at a young age due to her husband being recruited as a CIA informant. But - the build and anticlimatic ending didn't work.

Great film, Love Scott Eastwood and Kate Beckinsale. This is a very sad true story that makes a point to women everywhere, this is why you don't get involved with men from the middle east. As sad as this story is I have zero sympathy for this women
