Plot summary

Fifteen years after his father's experiments with matter transmission fail, Philippe Delambre and his uncle François attempt to create a matter transmission device on their own. However, their experiments have disastrous results, turning Philippe into a horrible half-man, half-fly creature.

3.25 stars. If you enjoyed the original "Fly," this is worth watching. New subplot here with a suprise ending.

This is an old film but it actually

This is an old film but it actually looked quite good. The monster fly outfit was a little goofy but actually pretty cool. Certainly not comparable to The Fly II (1989) but still a fun monster costume. The sound was nothing amazing, the dialogue was a little tough to understand at times. This did make it harder to watch. The story is definitely weaker than the original and even the sequel to the remake. It is a very weak story. It basically is just the son continuing the father’s research but with a different (weaker) ending and framing story. This is one film that can be forgotten by time.

This sequel movie is not as much fun

This sequel movie is not as much fun as its predecessor. But it does have Vincent Price appearing as the Uncle in both films, so that counts as a freebie on my shlockstick cinema Bingo card.
