This is a good movie. I can see

This is a good movie. I can see how some aspects make modern audiences uncomfortable, because we don’t like being reminded of the old interracial dynamics. But this is a very good film. The performances, morals, and soul of this film are just incredible, not to mention such an early attempt at weaving live action and animation. If it offends your sensibilities that is understandable, but it remains a profound cultural artifact and heart warming kids movie. 4/5 highly recommend.
