Come on, high schoolers?

If these were college kids, it would make much more sense. The girl explains to her mom the job, shows her the totally legit website and business card, shows her cash, mentions another trip, and her mother doesn't ask if she's running drugs? Lets her continue? We're supposed to accept her plight bc her brother has cancer and she makes donations with dirty money? OK, Lifetime.I can't and I didn't. Turned it off.
