My Review (10/10): A Timeless Masterpiece That Redefined Cinema Seven Samurai is more than just a movie — it’s a cinematic experience that stays with you long after the credits roll. Akira Kurosawa created something truly extraordinary: a story about courage, honor, and humanity told with perfect balance between emotion and action. The pacing, the black-and-white cinematography, the powerful music, and the unforgettable characters all come together beautifully. Every samurai feels real, with his own story and purpose. The final battle is simply breathtaking — raw, emotional, and brilliantly directed. Even though it was made in 1954, the film feels alive and modern because its themes are universal. It inspired countless movies after it, but none have matched its depth and soul. A true masterpiece. A film that proves cinema can be both art and adventure. ? 10/10

Hardcoded subs is definitely another form of violence.

2160p looks great and sound is alright and yes stuck with english subs...

I took the plunge. The 2160p is indeed hard subbed.

@kawada_kun Some of the recent 4k torrents have embedded soft subs.

Hardsubbed!? Way to ruin it.

Pero amigo como la vas a subir con los sub pegados? NO asi no

@astrorock: There are no torrents with embedded soft subs here so if it's marked like that, it's surely hard.

is the 'ensubbed' 4k hard subbed or soft?

@AMJ_Q8 Ugh. No.

This film is one of my personal favorites. It's in my top 10 films of all time. Can't wait to watch it in 4K. Thanks, Freeman.
