subs seem totally effective to me

the film is longer than the official version so no sub works with it

showing the intro company logo twice for no reason before the film starts throws off any subtitle you try. disappointing.

I once watched this movie in the cinema. 7 hours of black and white dreary shots. I came out of the cinema into the light and colour of the day. It was miraculous. Try to recreate that at home.

Why does YTS upload shitty cropped movies and does not bother to change them?

Sadly, there is indeed severe croppage, rendering this copy unwatchable. Disappointing but I'm sure Freeman will come back and rescue & repair.
