One can only imagine the death threats he must receive from Big Nasal Congestion. But what really cements his legacy as a comedic revolutionary is his willingness to tackle the issues that matter. While cowards like John Oliver or Hasan Minhaj waste their platforms on trivialities like war crimes, genocide, and systemic corruption, Gervais has the integrity to ask the hard questions: What if Anne Frank was kind of annoying? What if Hitler's cock needed sucking in hell? What if—stay with me here—disabled people are inherently funny because they're disabled? His "minge" bit at the Golden Globes? Pulitzer-worthy. Facing down ten lawyers to defend the sacred right to make Dame Judi Dench lick her own vagina—metaphorically, of course—requires a spine of steel. Unless that fear involves jeopardizing international distribution rights. Then maybe stick to mocking people who can't fight back. That's not punching down—that's punching smart. Five stars for the sheer audacity of calling yourself a truth-teller while treating geopolitics like a Voldemort you can't name. Bravo, Ricky. The revolution will not be televised, but it will involve a lot of jokes about dwarves.

I really liked Ricky Gervais previous specials on Netflix, but this was not great for me. Was more informative then funny.

Didn't laugh once. It's like lately he's all like: hey guys, remember I'm the same guy who did this, well cancel culture is why I can't.

Is he still a dead atheist?
