I absolutely loved Mortality. Not in a polite

I absolutely loved Mortality. Not in a polite "that was clever" way—but in the deeply satisfying way you love something that says out loud what you’ve been thinking and does it with brutal precision and perfect timing. Ricky Gervais is operating at peak confidence here. Mortality feels like a comedian who has shed any need to be liked and discovered that honesty is funnier anyway. He stares straight at death, offense, religion, and outrage culture and treats them all with amused disbelief. He isn’t scared of mortality—he’s irritated by how much time we waste pretending we’re not all headed to the same ending. Every joke is deliberate. Every pause matters. He leads you into discomfort, lets it breathe, then lands punchlines that are outrageous, undeniable, and earned. It’s bold, unapologetic, sharply argued comedy that doesn’t comfort you—it wakes you up. I laughed constantly, agreed often, disagreed occasionally, and loved every minute.
